My Story

Grassi Watch Company was born out of my love of vintage timepieces. The tropical dials, well worn bezels and acrylic crystals found on watches from the 50's and 60's have a warm depth and rich character that I was not able to find in anything currently being produced. Additionally, I was reluctant to buy something that was 3-4 times the cost of a Seiko and probably 3-4 times as unreliable / fragile.

This dilemma sparked a mission: to create a vintage-inspired timepiece using modern, reliable components. When I couldn’t find a dial that captured the rich character of aged tropical patina, I developed my own method - carefully aging dials and hand-applying lume to match the warmth and texture of classic vintage watches.

At Grassi Watch Company, every piece is crafted with the same obsessive attention to detail and reverence for history that inspired the first build. Our goal is simple: to make timeless watches that are meant to be worn, not locked away.
